A Ghost of a Chance for YOU to help LBSC!
During the run of The Hound of the Baskervilles, we had trouble with our "ghost light" -- the light theatres traditionally leave on so that in case someone comes in and it's dark, the Ghost Light illuminates the path to the light board.
Well, our new Ghost Light began a small fire early one morning. We're glad to report that no one was in the building and no one was hurt.
We had to repair the stage right away because we had a show that night! We had to replace all the locks on the building because the firemen had to cut through them to get into the building. Those were unexpected expenses which we could ill afford.
We still need to clean our costume stock and the upholstery of our chairs because they all smell of smoke. We just haven't had the funds to do it!
Please consider contributing to our Fire Fund! We need to raise $5,000 to compensate for the repair and cleaning expenses! We'll have regular updates on our website so you can see how we're doing and the difference you make!
